…WATER…
Water is a natural substance contain, 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen. 80% of the earth. Sea, lake, river, all based from water. So, we can say that water is one of the source of life element.
Can we live without water?
·         If there is a question “can we live without water?” the answer is NO. Our body contain 70%-80%.  Here are the function of water in our body.
Function
Explain
Picture
Cell life
Water is able to keep or distribute something. Example: blood contain water, can distribute substance that body needed
The-Functions-of-Water-1
Chemical and Metabolic reaction
Water removes waste products and toxic that body doesn’t need. Excretion, in form of urine

Transport of nutrients
Water help biochemical process, to breakdown what we eat
The-Functions-of-Water-3
Body temperature regulation
Our body need to release the heat in the body, it will produce sweat from our skin to maintain the body temperature, avoid overheat
The-Functions-of-Water-4
Elimination of water
Water is a lubricant around joints. It also acts as a shock absorber for eyes, brain, spinal cord and even for the foetus through amniotic fluid

What are the properties of water?
Water has a lot of properties to fulfill it’s function. One of the properties that also really important for our body, example blood, are adhesion, and cohesion, cohesion means because of the H2O composition, it can stick each other easily. Adhesion means it can stick to other material easily too.
Water has high surface tension level, which means water surrounded by not the same molecules. It pull by the cohesion of the other molecule inside the water. Because, of the high surface tension, small or light substance can float on the water surface, example, leaf, and insect.
Capillary action, it’s needed for the plant. Capillary action means, it can pass the narrow  tube. Plant tube, is needed for the plant to obtain the water. The water will pass the narrow tube of the plant. The process will be continue until the plant absorb enough water, can the gravity will pull the water back when it’s full.
Water has melting point  and boiling point, melting point is 0oC, and boiling point is 100oC. Below melting point, the state of water will be change from liquid to solid, become ice, after boiling point, it will be gas state.
Water has high specific heat capacity, mean amount of heat needed to increase the temperature one degree Celsius. The energy needed to increase the temperature one degree Celsius is 4.2 J/gram. Water also has heat of vaporization, it means, it can absorb a lot of heat without the temperature increase too much.
Water also called Universal Solvent, means most substance can be dissolve by water. The substance that can be dissolve by the water called hydrophilic, and the one who can’t be dissolve called hydrophobic.
Do you guys know, that actually we can change the density of water?  The density for water, and sea water is different. So, the conclusion , the easy way to prove that the density of water can be change is by adding the salt to it.
